Climbers adjusting to Mount Rainier glacier melt in July

Here’s the latest information about Mount Rainier National Park:

The warm weather has led to widening crevasses and increased ice and rock fall, conditions usually seen in August or September, said Peter Ellis, supervisor with the National Park Service’s Mount Rainier climbing rangers.
