How climbing Mt Rainier is changing the lives of formerly homeless addicts

Here’s the latest information about Mount Rainier National Park:

Tacoma Rescue Mission executive director Mike Johnson created Climbing Out of Homelessness to build a sense of community among homeless addicts. He says addiction is most often caused by loneliness, lack of relationships and childhood trauma. His ten month program ends with a climb up Mt Rainier.
