3 Great Places to Eat in Packwood

If you’re headed to Mount Rainier National Park to or from Chinook Pass, there’s a good chance you’ll come across the sleepy town of Packwood, named for William Packwood, an explorer of the Pacific Northwest from Virginia.

Packwood is nestled at the junction of US Highway 12 and Gifford National Forest Road, sandwiched between Mount Rainier in the north and Mount St. Helens in the south.

On a glorious day of road-tripping, you might find yourself at Packwood just at a time when your tummy is telling you it’s time to eat.
